April 4, 2023: The White Gompa and Kathmandu Guest House

Began the morning at a monastery called “The White Gompa” for further discussions on a wall paintings conservation project, including a delicious vegetarian lunch with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche and visiting monks.

At the end of the day, enjoyed discussing conservation concerns with artists at an event celebrating the innovative Museum of Nepali Art located in the Kathmandu Guest House. Introduction by Museum Director Rajan Sakya, and Happy Birthday to him from all attending.
